These brands that gather every generation for every occasion

Dear reader,


Today, I desire to tell you more about these brands which speak to every generation, from young people to adults, at any occasion of your life. You share them at Christmas, Easter or at a family diner. You offer them at Valentines Day, at a business diner or to indulge your friends and your family. These chocolates please each member of the family, at any age.

I am referring to the Italian Ferrero Rocher, the Swiss Toblerone chocolatiers (owned by the the US confectionary Modelez International Inc.) and the Lindt Swiss brand.


WHO ARE THEY?


The Ferrero Rocher group was founded in 1982 in Europe. Ferrero Rocher, these milk chocolates topped off with chopped hazelnuts that are distributed in more than 170 countries globally while being present in 55 countries. Ferrero Rocher are considered as premium luxurious chocolate product even if they are sold in malls and big supermarkets.


Toblerone, is a Swiss a triangular prism nougat-rich chocolate brand currently owned by US confectionery company Mondelēz International which exists in different flavours (white, milk, dark chocolate…). Mondelez has acquired the product from Jacobs Suchard, the former owner, in 1990.


Lindt & Sprüngli AG, more commonly Lindt, is a Swiss chocolatier and confectionery company founded in 1845. It is known for its meltingly soft chocolates with different flavours.


HOW DO THEY COMMUNICATE?


There is a real image of quality when we think about the brand Ferrero Rocher, we cannot go wrong when we decide to offer a box of Ferrero for Christmas, a party, or even a business dinner. They succeeded to develop an awareness of the brand through the years thanks to its several advertisements in function of the target and the season.

Lindt chocolates, are also immediately recognisable thanks to its round shape and the colour (according to the different flavours) of its packaging. As well as Toblerone, Lindt has women, adults and children for target market.

DIFFERENT PACKAGINGS FOR DIFFERENT OCCASIONS:


Ferrero Rocher has various packages size and different shape of boxes according the occasion. The boxes can even become a decoration for the table. This is definitely a strength of the brand. This way, the brand assures itself to be the best option for any occasion. Moreover, the packaging is sophisticated, it represents the ideal product for gifting. It has a customer recognition due to its packaging: the golden wrapper.

Toblerone has put in place different designs for its packagings but doesn’t offer any various packages size. It can appear less premium than Ferrero Rocher.

Lindt, as Ferrero Rocher, offers many options of packagings according to the occasions of the year. As Ferrero and Toblerone, the boxes colours stay gold and red, not too childish or too serious.

These brands have a strong awareness from the consumers, they own products that we perfectly know, trust and offer at any occasion for any generation. This a powerful weapon, being able to target kids as adults through the memorable events of the entire year. It means that when we are living the situation of having to choose and offer chocolates among hundreds of brands, we will more likely to choose a brand that will fit anywhere, and that will please anyone, from the girlfriend to the grandmother.
