Brand owners feel that they know what their brand represents but what determines brand perception is what the consumers feel. Advancements in technologies gives instant brand perceptions nowadays. The consumer has the ability to share their opinion instantly. This advancement also helps the brands to analyse what they have to improve in order to become a better brand. Surveys and feedback are more helpful in analyzing the brand.


Cadbury-Chocolate of Universe!

The famous Cadbury ad of aliens show that Martians too love Dairy milk. Brand Projects themselves that they produce Universally tastiest chocolates. Cadbury has stood for two centuries giving the tastiest milk chocolate bars. The brand holds the pride of being one among the 3 Royal Warrant Holders i.e. to advertise and supply for the Royal Family.


Even though they have been a leader in chocolates in the British colony for the past decades, they have been overtaken by many companies because of consumer change in brands.

Health conscious people were gradually making a shift. It is one of the most preferred chocolate by all age groups because of its crispy chocolaty content.


One of the recent controversies for KitKat was the use of palm oil in the chocolate which led to the company's destruction of a habitat of Orangutan in Indonesia.

The advertisement of the energy bars is always deals with Sports & Energy .The games, marathons ad FIFA was sponsored by Snickers because of its perception of being an instant energy supplier. The peanuts & Caramel help supply instant energy even when people are very hungry.


IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA


Every ad when it is shown in mass media or across any social platform, the feedback is received instantly on Social Media.people use social media to instantly comment on their views on the ad and their perception of the brand which causes an impact in their peer.

People also prefer Brands for creating a "Self-image" which is mostly influenced by their peers.
